The first week of college football treats us to several quality matchups, including three between teams ranked in the top 25.

On Saturday, powerhouses Georgia and Clemson will clash in Atlanta while Notre Dame makes the treacherous trip to Kyle Field. A special Sunday game will feature LSU and USC in Las Vegas.

With 20 of the top 25 teams in action throughout Labor Day weekend, there are plenty of player props to choose from. Here are six that look enticing:

Riley Leonard (ND) Rushing Yards: O 33.5 (-114)

Leonard is known for his dual threat capabilities after showcasing them in Duke’s upset win over Clemson last season. He’s also familiar with Marcus Freeman’s Notre Dame offense, as he faced them last year. In that game, Leonard rushed for 88 yards on 18 carries, and that should translate now that he’s a member of the Irish.

Quinshon Judkins (OSU) Anytime Touchdown: O 0.5 (-245)

Though the Buckeyes already have a quality lead back in Treveyon Henderson, I expect them to appease Judkins by giving him ample touches, especially around the goal line. He scored 15 rushing touchdowns last season with Ole Miss, including at least one in 10 of 13 games.

Carson Beck (UGA) Passing Yards: O 265.5 (-114)

Beck is no stranger to the big stage. Last season, he cleared the 265.5 number in 9 of 14 games, three of which were against ranked opponents. This should be a competitive matchup, and Georgia’s potent rushing attack should open up plenty of throwing opportunities for Beck against the Clemson secondary.

Garrett Greene (WVU) Passing Yards: U 175.5 (-114)

In both of West Virginia’s games against ranked opponents last season, Greene failed to throw for 170 yards, including against Penn State, where many of his yards came when the game was already out of reach. The Nittany Lions were excellent against the pass all season and it should stay that way against the Mountaineers.

Nicholas Singleton (PSU) Anytime Touchdown: O 0.5 (-104)

Even though Singleton splits carries evenly with fellow back Kaytron Allen, he is a powerful runner who is effective around the goal line and in short yardage situations. Singleton has scored a combined 18 rushing touchdowns in the last two seasons, including one in last year’s game against West Virginia.

Jalen Milroe (ALA) Anytime Touchdown: O 0.5 (-350)

Expect the Tide’s explosive offense to have lots of scoring opportunities against Western Kentucky. Excluding sacks, Milroe carried the ball nine times per game in 2023 and found the end zone 12 times.
