We’re back with more player props after last week’s batch went 6 for 6.
Week 2 of the college football season will bring action from 24 of the top 25 teams, including a clash of titans featuring Texas and Michigan.
We narrowed our focus down to six enticing player props:
Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook
Dylan Raiola (NEB) Passing Yards: 236+ (-120)
The true freshman’s talent was in full display last week as he threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-7 win over UTEP. Colorado has a talented secondary, but their weaknesses were still exposed against NDSU. Last year’s matchup between the Huskers and Buffs was low-scoring, but I have a hunch that this year will be different.
Jamal Haynes (GT) Anytime Touchdown: Yes (-185)
Haynes has reached the end zone three times in two games and has proven himself as Tech’s premier offensive threat. He’s showing no signs of slowing down as the Jackets prepare to face Syracuse, who gave up more points than they should have against Ohio last week.
Jackson Arnold (OU) Passing Touchdowns: 3+ (-125)
After a stellar Week 1 where he tossed four touchdowns, Arnold will get another favorable matchup when the Oklahoma hosts Houston. The Cougars were routed by UNLV last week, and the Sooner offense is twice as good. This pick seems like a layup.
Travis Hunter (CU) Receiving Yards: 80+ (-130)
Hunter looks to keep building his case for the Heisman Trophy when the Buffs head to Lincoln. He put up 132 yards and three scores last week and has cemented himself as Shedeur Sanders’ favorite target. Nebraska is a tougher matchup, but I still expect Coach Prime to get the ball in his playmaker’s hands.
Omarion Hampton (UNC) Rushing Yards: 100+ (-195)
North Carolina’s offense is completely one dimensional. Against Minnesota, Hampton accounted for 146 out of UNC’s 252 total yards. With the leg injury to quarterback Max Johnson, the Tar Heels have no choice but to burn Hampton’s tires out.
Devin Neal (KU) Anytime Touchdown: Yes (-205)
Neal tallied 112 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries in Kansas’ victory over Lindenwood. He splits carries with the other Jayhawk running backs but has been their go-to guy around the goal line for four years, scoring 38 times in 39 career games. Neal had 120 yards and a score in last season’s win over Illinois.
