The first week of NFL football is here, and that means it’s time for our first batch of Pick Six player props.
Each week, we’ll select six player prop bets that catch our eye and keep track of our record throughout the season.
We’re looking to start the NFL season hot after last week’s College Football Pick Six Player Props went 6 for 6.
Also, be sure to check out our NFL Week 1 Predictions, where we make picks against the spread and give a Lock of the Week.
Here are our favorite player props this week:
Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook
Anthony Richardson (IND) Passing Touchdowns: U 1.5 (-196)
In four games played last season, Richardson threw only three touchdown passes. He’ll face the Texans at home, but with the return of Jonathan Taylor, expect the Colts to lean on the run in the red zone.
Tyreek Hill (MIA) Receptions: O 6.5 (-128)
Hill exceeded 6.5 receptions in 10 of 18 games last season. Yes, a healthy Jaylen Waddle gives Tua Tagovailoa another target, but Hill is poised for a big outing in what looks to be a high scoring affair.
Bo Nix (DEN) Interceptions: O 0.5 (-146)
In his final season at Oregon, Bo Nix only threw three picks. In his prior four seasons, though, he threw 23 total interceptions. Nix doesn’t have a plethora of weapons around him, and in his first NFL start, I see him turning the ball over at least once.
Kyren Williams (LAR) Rushing Yards: O 60.5 (-114)
Williams, who was second in the NFC in total rushing yards behind Christian McCaffrey, rushed for over 60 yards in 8 of the 13 games he played. He rushed for 61 against the Lions in the Wild Card last season, so it’s obvious where the line came from. The Rams did draft Blake Corum, who will certainly see some touches, but Williams should still get enough volume to clear this low threshold.
Puka Nacua (LAR) Receptions: O 5.5 (-138)
Entering his second season, Nacua will look to replicate a season where he emerged as Matthew Stafford’s top target, catching a total of 105 passes on the season. Expect the 23-year-old to continue to shine even with a healthy Cooper Kupp.
Aaron Rodgers (NYJ) Passing Touchdowns: U 1.5 (-140)
Nobody knows how Aaron Rodgers will look after suffering a season-ending Achilles tear last season. What we do know is that San Francisco’s defense is among the best in the league, and the Jets are on the road. The safe play is to take the under here.
